The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. Established in the year 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala. The University aims to nurture excellence in education and research in its catchment areas of Northern Kerala, historically consigned to the periphery of Kerala’s academic map.
Those who have secured a pass in Sahityacharya from Hindi Prachar Sabha or Rashtra Bhasha Praveen or Dakshin Bharata Hindi Prachar Sabha can secure a B. A degree under the B. A- POT scheme. The duration of the course will two years. The institution will provide study materials.
a) Passed the S.S.L.C or equivalent Examination and they should have completed 5 academic years after pass in the S.S.L.C Examination.
b) A pass in Plus Two / Pre-Degree Examination
c) A pass in Sathyacharya of kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha
c) A pass in Rashtra Bhasha Praveen Or Dekshin Bharata Hindi prachar Sabha
