The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. Established in the year 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala. The University aims to nurture excellence in education and research in its catchment areas of Northern Kerala, historically consigned to the periphery of Kerala’s academic map.
Calicut University introduces new Open University scheme in the year 1987. This special scheme recognized under the Government of Kerala. Any person can acquire a degree from the University very easily as the scheme is very simple and liberal. Under this scheme a person without any basic academic Qualification can register B.A / B.Com. , If he /she has completed 18 years of age as on 1st July of the concerned academic year. The candidate can study and write examination either in Malayalam or in English. S.S.L.C or Pre-Degree is not necessary.
No educational qualification:
Must have completed 18 years of age on 1st July of the concerned academic year.
Structure of Course :
The students should send an attested copy of their S S L C book or T C. or of the certificate which shows their proof of age along with the University application form. Original certificate should be produced after the Entrance Test

3.Admission fee : Rs. 50/-
*The fee mentioned above is exclusive of University/Board fee. Hence the students should remit all sorts of University/Board fee apart from our tuition fee.
